 Mivel hála a Denvernek kikapott a Clippers ezért ez a vereség még belefért. Az előző Grizzlies elleni meccs úgy látszik sokat kivett a fiúkból, nem voltak képesek extrateljesítményre. Egyszerűen nem tudtuk levédeni a Duncan-Ginobili kettőst és az is gond volt, hogy Davis csak 32 percet tudott játszani, Biedrins is csak 15öt. Így mind lepattanópárbajt mind dobópárbajt buktuk, a már említett TD-Gino kettős vezetésével kaptunk 40 pontot az első negyedben. De még nem volt gond mert félidőre vissza tudtunk jönni egálközelbe. Ezzel viszont sajnos ellőttük az összes puskaporunkat. Harrington és Richardson húzta hátán a csapatot, előbbi 22 utóbbi 23 pontot hozott össze de hiába ha a pálya másik oldalán nem alkottak kiemelkedőt. Davis 17 pontra képes volt, de 2 gólpassza szinte egyenlő a 0val és csapatszinten is csak 17et értünk el. Duncan 28 pontot és 15 lepattanót könyvelhetett el, míg Ginobili 25 pontot, 7 lepattanót és 7 gólpasszt. Megint kezdhetünk számolgatni mivel 5 meccs van hátra az alapszakaszból, ugyanannyi győzelmünk van mint a Clippersnek de 2vel több vereségünk. Így ha a Clippers nyer ma Dallasban mi pedig kikapunk a Jazztől gyakorlatilag semmi esélyünk sem marad. Így hát tiszta szívemből kívánom hogy az ellenkezője történjen!

“Tim Duncan. To me he’s the best player, the most valuable player in the league hands down. He’s the best player that goes unnoticed. He may fill up the stats sheet, but all the little stuff that he does and doesn’t allow to happen. We came close in the game, we battled and got close but we never seemed to turn the corner. It seems like we just ran out of gas. (Manu Ginobili) was huge. He got hot, he got some threes and went to the line. He did what he always does. We just have to use this as a learning experience. We started the game right, but we gave up some easy transition buckets. I thought transition wise we could have done a lot better. If we would have done better on transition we would have had a better chance at the end.”
