Újabb győzelem! (99-89)

A kulcsszó: csapatmunka! Ezúttal a Clipperst fogadtuk.
Nyilatkozatok:
Don Nelson On Tonight's Game “Well Baron came in and saved us. I also owe it to our defense. It has been spectacular the past 3 games. Foyle did a nice job and held Elton Brand down. I thought our strategy was good and our double teams were very crisp when we did them. When Baron and Jackson are in together, it seems to set the tone for our defense and defense is a contagious thing. It is happening at the perfect time of the year. Our defensive intensity has increased since Baron has come back.”
Baron DavisOn The Clippers' Late Run“I thought the game just kind of tightened up for us. They made a run and we just didn’t make our shots. We had some open looks but we didn’t make our shots. We have to take this as a lesson because in the second half that ball didn’t move like it was supposed to. We gambled a lot and we weren’t able to get those easy fastbreak buckets that we’re capable of getting.”
On The Team's Defense “All defense boils down to is trusting your teammates and we’re getting more confidence in each other. And right now we’re playing at a high level and we need to continue that game in and game out.”
On Tonight's Game “I felt we had a hard time scoring and I had a good feel for the game early in the first half. I had some mismatches with smaller guards, so I knew down the stretch I was going to have the ball in my hands and get us some easy shots and wide open looks, which we able to do. But at that point, it was like we were up six points, so I just needed to get to my spot and hit my shot. But I think defensively we won this game with our hustle.”
Stephen JacksonOn The Team's Defense“We can play defensively but we’ve been going through a lot with injuries. But we got through that and now we’re starting to play and come together as a team and hopefully we can continue to get better because we certainly have room to improve.”
On Playing With A Sense Of Urgency “Every win is important and we are playing with a sense of urgency right now and I think every game counts. We know where we’re trying to get and we know our goal and I think everyone in this locker room and in this organization is focused on that. So I think by playing defensive and continuing to be focused, taking it game by game, and realizing our goal and playing with that sense of urgency, I think we’ll be all right.”
Monta EllisOn Tonight's Game“We got some decent stops at the end of the game and Baron came in and made some big plays and shots and we won the game.”
On Playing Consistent Defense “We just have to stay with it. We’ve been playing defense the last four games and we’ve been terrific and we just have to stay on top of it and keep things going.”
Matt Barnes On Tonight's Game “It’s a big night, especially with the head-to-head meeting with L.A. is going to count a lot. But all we can really do is worry about ourselves and take it one game at a time and make this playoff push.”
